Software that actually follows the work of the workshop
CoronaTek brings jobs, work stages, spare parts, photographs, messages and warehouses together in a platform built around the company's real process: several sites, remanufacturing turbochargers, particulate filters and injectors.
It looked like “just a management system”.
At the start the need could look simple: record the turbochargers coming in and follow the work on them. But every job passes through people, departments, checks, photographs, spare parts, quotes, messages and different states.
And it is work that does not stop to wait for software: the part arrives, gets stripped, photographed, a spare is awaited, the customer is called back. The people doing it have dirty hands and no appetite for filling in forms.
The information existed. It was just elsewhere.
Information was spread across different tools and different people: a spreadsheet, a technician's memory, photos on somebody else's phone, a message received at the end of a shift. The software had to fit into the flow of the workshop without turning technicians into administrative clerks.
A system built on the process, not on the screens.
Intake
The operator photographs the business card: customer details and part data go in without typing. Every job is born with its code, its photos and its site.
Diagnosis and work
Description, ECU errors, photos and the history of every site are read together: the system proposes the most likely diagnosis and the typical operations, which the technician confirms or corrects.
Parts and warehouse
The system drives the automated vertical warehouse: it calls up the right tray, books the component out and ties it to the job. No searching from memory, no forgotten movements.
Talking to the customer
On WhatsApp the customer asks how it is going, approves a quote or sends a photo. Replies come from the system, so they do not interrupt whoever is working.
Payment and delivery
Quote, approval, payment and delivery documents live on the same record as the part: by the time it leaves the workshop, everything about it is already in order.
Traceability and history
Every part leaves a readable trail: who did what, when, with which spare, at which site. Months later the story can be read back, and it matters.
Underneath the simple interface.
Behind a simple interface there are roles, permissions, synchronisation between sites, image handling, WhatsApp automation, security, backups and interconnected applications. It is the part nobody looks at until it is missing, and it is also the part that decides whether a system holds up as the company grows.
Every job has a story, and it can be read.
Operators see what they need at the moment they need it. The customer is kept up to date without constantly interrupting the work. And the company can let the process evolve without starting over, because the system follows the way people work rather than the other way round.
A bespoke platform is not born by adding screens to a generic management system. It is born by understanding the work well enough to translate it into a system.
